Simon Pickus joined GRIP in the spring of 2022 and in his role as program coordinator he supports the GRIP facilitators in their work inside and outside of California prisons. Simon is proud to contribute to the GRIP program and is deeply motivated to work toward affecting both personal and systemic change within the prison system. Prior to GRIP, Simon worked in healthcare administration at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. He was also a researcher and investigator at the Mintz Group, a due diligence and investigations firm in San Francisco. Simon lives in Oakland and in his free time enjoys reading, writing, and watching nature documentaries.
