Ashley Johnson-Schwartz (she/they) serves as the Communications Associate. She brings over 8 years of experience working at B2B and B2C organizations such as IMVU (Together Labs), Turnitin, and ODC. They have a passion for social justice and the performing arts. Ashley has worked in live theatre and mental health organizations such as One Mind and Depressed While Black. At the Marin Chapter of the national Alliance of Mental Illness, her solo performance “Who Wants to be Neurotypical?”, highlighting her experience of being a Black, queer, neurodivergent woman. Ashley is the creator and community manager of r/BlackMentalHealth, a forum on Reddit and Discord dedicated to providing a safe space for the Black community to talk about their mental health and to share resources.
