Victoria Rocha

Victoria Rocha is a graduate student at California State University Fresno, working on her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She is originally from Bakersfield California but has resided in Fresno for over 20 years. A single mother of five beautiful children, she works hard to lead by example for her family and her community. A formerly incarcerated Mexican American student who has faced many obstacles including drug abuse and incarceration. Although she has faced her share of issues, she decided to take a new path through higher education. She currently works with formerly incarcerated students at Fresno City College through the Rising Scholars Program helping them navigate campus and coursework. She is a helper at heart and enjoys mentoring youth through this journey called life.
