Marcos is a GRIP Facilitator and Area Prison Lead for San Quentin and California Medical Facility. He continues to implement the four tenets of the GRIP curriculum into his daily life: violence prevention, emotional intelligence, mindfulness and empathy towards victims and human suffering. He is active in CrossFit—all in an effort to keep up with his seven year-old daughter—a challenge he relishes in.
